Custard

The perfect Crema pasticcera for your sweets ! 🍰

💯Ingredients
– 2 cups milk
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/4 cup flour
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 4 egg yolks
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

💯Instructions

In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and salt.
Add the egg yolks to the sugar mixture and whisk until smooth.
Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to prevent the eggs from scrambling.
Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
Pour the pastry cream into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap directly onto the surface of the cream to prevent a skin from forming.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before using !!!
